Kindness is how a Christlike person treats others:
Kindness is a spirit of kindness not harshness
We can control our tongues. What we say cannot be taken back.
We must look for the good in someone.
Giving honest praise and compliments helps others feel successful. We tend to live up to expectations others have of us.
A wonderful primary song "I'm Trying to Be Like Jesus" helps children learn the necessity of kindness.

Lesson Synopsis 12/2/12
Relief Society, Dec. 2, 2012
Keeping Christ in Christmas
As we enter the holiday season let us remember to keep the Savior in the Christmas message. Although "X-Mas" is popular, it eliminates the reason for our celebration.
Let us teach our children what we truely believe about Christmas.
Cards could be selected that do not emphasize Santa.
Shown in the lesson was a Christmas tree with the following explanations:
Green: hope grows heavenward
Star: Jesus was born. The Promise was fullfilled and a star shown brightly to announce His birth.
Red ball ornaments: Theblood of Christ was shed for us
Bells: Angels sang, and shephards were coming to worship Him
Candy canes: The shape "J" stands for Jesus
Wreath: The circle represents eternal life
Remember - keep Christ in Christmas!
